Top Flow 3 is a double-sided operated vertical flow air cabinet with partial recirculation. The system is designed like a class II microbiological safety cabinet with an average displacement flow of 0.40 m / s and an inwardly directed air velocity of more than 0.40 m / s. The system has visual and audible alarms in accordance with the European standard EN 12469: 2000 Top Flow 3 is specially designed for manipulation and transfer of mice or other laboratory animals, from dirty cages to clean cages, in a sterile area, with protection for the operator, animal and environment.
Main and recirculating air HEPA filter: H14, 99.995% efficiency MPPS according to EN 1822 (99.999% DEHS test efficiency at 0.3 mm).
Pre-filters (F5) are installed under the work surface to prolong the life of the filter and prevent the motor fan from blocking. The cleanliness of the air in the working area corresponds to class ISO 5.
External structure in carbon steel (12/10), coated in white with epoxy polyester powder RAL 9010; the worktop and drain pan are in stainless steel. Protective grille for main HEPA filter is made of anodised aluminium.
Side windows are made of safety glass. 2 hinged front panels, one on each side, made of 4 mm double laminated safety glass with anodised aluminium frame with opening height in working position of 290 mm. Opening angle of 150 ° to obtain a free opening cross section of 1160 x 530 mm (W x H)
2 soft-touch control panels, one on each side, to work with the changing station as with two independent systems.
2 Plexiglass front closure.
Fluorescent lamps installed outside the contamination area (2x15Watt), with 400 Lux (for animals without voltage).
Easy maintenance of the motor fan and the HEPA filters from both sides.
Two side handles for movement and positioning.
