Sorvall LYNX 4000 rotor

The Thermo Scientific Fiberlite F21-8x50y is an ultra-lightweight, high performance fixed-angle rotor that increases productivity with a maximum speed of 21,000 rpm/52,600 x g. The rotor is made of corrosion-resistant carbon fiber, which prevents rotor failure and ensures easy cleaning and maintenance.
It also has advanced safety features with a bioseal lid that ensures samples stay in place and users are protected from hazardous chemicals. The F21-8x50y rotor fits into disposable conical tubes, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and eliminating many non-productive tasks such as sample transfer and autoclaving.
