The extremely compact housing of the 761 Compact IC accommodates everything required for ion chromatography at the highest quality level.

- Injection valve: For single injections or for use with a sample changer, e.g. the 766 IC Sample Processor.
- High-pressure pump: Extremely low-pulsation double piston pump with a flow range of 0.2 ... 2.5 mL/min and a maximum pressure of 25 MPa (250 bar).
- Pulsation dampener: Even with pressure fluctuations at a low level, the pulsation dampener reliably protects the separation columns from damage.
- Column space: The perfect insulation of the housing not only creates thermally stable conditions for the separation columns, it also shields the system from electromagnetic interference.
- Columns: Whether anion columns with or without suppression, cation columns or separation columns for organic acids - they all fit into the column compartment of the 761 Compact IC.
- Suppressor: The Metrohm Suppressor Module (MSM) is already integrated in this Compact IC, pressure-stable, with fully automatic regeneration, high performance and excellent reproducibility.
- Peristaltic pump: Integrated two-channel peristaltic pump with a flow of 0.5 ... 0.6 mL/min for regeneration and rinsing of the suppressor module in the Compact IC.
- Detector: Conductivity detector with excellent temperature stability. The detector temperature fluctuates by less than 0.01°C and can be optimally adapted to the ambient conditions.
Can be used in combination with Metrohm 766 IC Sample Processor.
